TBD: Update on iHuman Youth Society
Sean will provide an update on iHuman activities. iHuman has been supported by our Rotary club in the past.
iHuman is a nonprofit transforming high-risk youth through arts programs and mentorship, fostering growth and resilience.
Their facility is located downtown 9635 102A Ave NW
iHuman Youth Society is a non-profit organization providing integrated, arts-based support across housing, mental health, healthcare, judicial systems, employability and engagement with systems for young people navigating complex social and economic challenges. Through a combination of creative programming, mentorship, and individualized support, iHuman uses art as a foundation for engagement; building trust, strengthening connection, and creating pathways for youth to access services, develop skills, and improve overall well-being.
Grounded in early intervention and prevention, iHuman works with youth ages 12 to 24 to reduce barriers and support positive outcomes. This includes addressing practical barriers that impact stability such as access to transportation, income supports, identification, and basic needs like food security. Through consistent, relationship-based support, iHuman helps youth engage with services, meet immediate needs, and build a strong foundation for long-term stability.
